Although Wednesday was the first day of spring, Thursday is bringing more winter weather. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with National Weather Service Meteorologist Ryan Cutter:
Cutter said the listening area won’t see too much accumulation.
“If you’re living on the south side of Kansas City, down Highway 71 there, you might see a few inches, two to three inches of accumulation,” said Cuter, “As you get more towards central Missouri, the snowfall total’s going to drop off pretty rapidly, and if you were over towards Boonville or Fayette or those areas, you might not see much more than just a dusting.”
A second and more severe storm may hit a few days later.
