Snow Means Adjusted Weekend Plans

Winter is having at least one more blow for the region this weekend as forecasts show the potential of snow mixed with sleet Saturday and then snow for most of Sunday. Ryan Cutter, Meteorologist with the National Weather Service says adjust your plans and avoid travel if possible.

Cutter says the light dry snow will have the potential to be blown about by moderate northerly winds, but visibility won’t be an issue until late in the storms lifespan with the additional accumulations.

Cutter says move up plans for Saturday as the morning and early afternoon should be dry, but avoid travel on Sunday if possible.
