Yadier Molina added three hits and two RBIs for the Cardinals. Adam Wainwright got the victory after allowing three runs in seven innings.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — The St. Louis Rams will play their first Monday night game since 2006 against the Seattle Seahawks on October 28th. The NFL schedule was unveiled yesterday. The Rams open the regular season at home against Arizona on September 8th.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid has denied a report that the team gave permission to the Miami Dolphins to speak with left tackle Branden Albert. Reid says the report wasn’t true, denying any suggestion the Chiefs granted permission to help facilitate a trade of the franchise tackle. Albert has not attended any of the team’s voluntary offseason workouts.
