The Knob Noster Boys Basketball team defeated Clinton 65 to 26 Thursday night in non-Conference play. David Barton led the Panthers with 19. Ryan Keckler and Brett Marsh also finished in double-digits. Keckler had 14 and Marsh tacked on 13. The Cardinals were led by Zachary Adams with 9 points. Jordan Hall contributed four. The Panthers play again next Friday at the WK Shootout in Sedalia.

The Holiday Hoops game in Trenton, between Southwest Livingston and Grundy County Friday night, has been cancelled.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Skylar Diggins led No. 5 Notre Dame to an 87-57 victory over Kansas State last night in the second round of the World Vision Classic. Diggins finished with 22 points and Natalie Achonwa added 13 points for the Fighting Irish. Brittany Chambers had 18 points and seven rebounds for the Wildcats.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) – The Kansas City Chiefs must win its home finale Sunday to avoid having one home victory over the course of a season for the third time in five years. Prior to that, the Chiefs had won more than once at Arrowhead Stadium every season since 1977. Kansas City is a combined 12-27 over the past five seasons at home.
