ST. LOUIS (AP) — St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson enters the regular season finale amid questions about his future with the team. Jackson will have the option to explore free agency after the season. Coach Jeff Fisher says the Rams want him back, but Jackson’s demands could price him out of a uniform.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Kansas City coach Romeo Crennel has joined the list of Chiefs dealing with illness and injury. Crennel hobbled around on crutches yesterday after having fluid drained from his left knee. Running back Jamaal Charles and linebacker Tamba Hali returned yesterday after missing practice on Wednesday.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Kansas City Chiefs punter Dustin Colquitt is finally getting some much-deserved attention. Colquitt was voted to his first Pro Bowl this week after averaging nearly 47 yards per punt for the Chiefs. He is also second in the NFL with 42 punts inside the 20 yard line.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) — Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez is still considering retirement at the end of the season. The 13-time Pro Bowler remains 95 percent certain he will walk away from the gridiron after the season. The 36-year-old Gonzalez played 12 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs before being traded to Atlanta.
