FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Mike Felt scored 14 points off the bench last night to help North Dakota State rout UMKC 71-34. Kory Brown and Marshall Bjorklund added 12 points apiece for the Bison, who led by as many as 40 in the second half. Trinity Hall led the Kangaroos with nine points.

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) — Kansas State coach Bill Snyder has signed a new five-year deal worth $14.75 million over the life of the contract. The 73-year-old Snyder led the Wildcats to an 11-2 record, the Big 12 championship and a berth in the Fiesta Bowl this past season. Snyder has spent the past 21 seasons in Manhattan.
