Scott Pioli is officially parting ways with the Kansas City Chiefs. That news was announced about 9 a.m. Friday morning.
The news comes after two days of whirlwind negotiating between the Chiefs and former Philadelphia head coach Andy Reid.
League sources reported to numerous media outlets that Reid and the Chiefs are nearly finished with negotiations and it was just a matter of time before an official announcement was made declaring Reid the new Head Coach.
With the official departure of Pioli, it would seem the deal is done; but still no official word from either camp.
