COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — Suspended Missouri guard Michael Dixon has left the team amid a pair of sexual assault allegations. School officials confirmed Dixon’s intent to transfer last night. Dixon has been benched all season for the No. 13 Tigers.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — St. Louis Rams receiver Danny Amendola wore a walking boot and missed a second straight day of practice. Offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer says it might be a game-day decision whether Amendola plays against San Francisco. Center Scott Wells also missed the last two days of practice with a knee issue.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Kansas City Chiefs have claimed offensive lineman Hayworth Hicks off waivers. Hicks spent time on the Indianapolis Colts practice squad before being acquired by the New York Jets earlier this month. The Chiefs also released kicker Matt Szymanski from the practice squad.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Pitcher Felipe Paulino and the Kansas City Royals have agreed to a $1.75 million contract that avoided salary arbitration. The deal announced yesterday included $250,000 in performance bonuses. Chris Getz and Luke Hochevar are the only remaining Royals players eligible for arbitration.
