In high School basketball action tonight we will be broadcasting live on our sister station 103.9 FM from Lafayette County High School as the Huskers host the Knob Noster Panthers in a boys Varsity match up. ST. LOUIS (AP) — Adrian Peterson rushed for a season-high 212 yards and a touchdown yesterday as the Minnesota Vikings topped the St. Louis Rams 36-22. With two games left, Peterson is 294 yards shy of breaking the NFL’s single-season rushing record. Rams quarterback Sam Bradford threw TD passes to Danny Amendola, Lance Kendricks and Brian Quick.

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Sebastian Janikowski kicked five field goals yesterday as the Oakland Raiders blanked the Kansas City Chiefs 15-0. Darren McFadden added 110 yards rushing for the Raiders, who shut out the Chiefs for the second time ever. Kansas City running back Jamaal Charles was held to 10 yards on nine carries.
