TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Sam Bradford had a pair of touchdown passes yesterday in the St. Louis Rams’ 28-13 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Steven Jackson added 81 yards rushing and a TD for the Rams. Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman threw four interceptions in the game.




KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Andrew Luck’s touchdown pass to Reggie Wayne late in the fourth quarter yesterday gave the Indianapolis Colts a 20-13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Luck finished with 205 yards passing as the Colts clinched a spot in the playoffs. Jamaal Charles rushed for 226 yards and a touchdown for the Chiefs.




KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has surpassed Cam Newton’s record for yards passing by a rookie in a single season. Luck needed only 74 yards to break the Carolina quarterback’s previous mark of 4,051 yards. Luck finished with 205 yards passing in yesterday’s game against Kansas City.




MIAMI (AP) — Former Kansas City Royals player Ryan Freel has been found dead in his Florida home, and authorities are investigating the death as a possible suicide. Officials say the 36-year-old Freel’s body was found Saturday afternoon. Freel’s career was cut short after eight seasons by head injuries.
