SEATTLE (AP) — Russell Wilson’s touchdown run with less than two minutes remaining gave the Seattle Seahawks a 20-13 win over the St. Louis Rams yesterday. Wilson also threw a TD pass to fullback Michael Robinson. Rams quarterback Sam Bradford passed for 252 yards, one touchdown and an interception.


DENVER (AP) — The Denver Broncos routed the Kansas City Chiefs 38-3 yesterday to seal the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs. Peyton Manning threw for 304 yards and three touchdowns for the Broncos, who won their 11th straight. The Chiefs finished their season 2-14 and they will get the top pick in April’s draft.


College Basketball

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) — Missouri State snapped an eight-game losing streak last night with a 70-59 victory over Southern Illinois. Anthony Downing scored 16 points and Nathan Scheer added 15 for the Bears. Kendal Brown-Surles led the Salukis with 12 points.


SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Missouri State Lady Bears were also victorious Sunday afternoon with an 88-75 victory over Coppin State in the final non-conference game of the season. Whitney Edie led the Lady Bears with 26 points followed by Kenzie Williams who put up 21. The Lady Bears are now 8-4 and will open Missouri Valley Conference play this Thursday at Wichita State.
