Missouri is at home Wednesday against Vanderbilt. The Tigers topped Tennessee 75-70 on Saturday for its second straight win. Mizzou is 18-and-7 overall and 6-and-6 in the SEC. The Commodores are 14-and-10.

Kansas is on the road tomorrow night taking on Texas Tech. The seventh-ranked Jayhawks bounced back from last Monday’s loss to K-State with a 95-65 win over TCU on Saturday. The Jayhawks are 19-and-6 overall.

The Missouri Valley College men’s and women’s basketball hit the road Saturday to Peru, Neb., for Heart of America Athletic Conference matchups with Peru State College. The women’s team came back from a halftime deficit to pick up a 68-60 victory. The Viking men’s basketball team led through most of its game and won 75-63.  The MVC basketball teams return home for a HAAC doubleheader hosting Culver-Stockton College Thursday.

The Royals continue spring training workouts today in Arizona. Pitchers and catchers reported on Friday, with the full squad due to check in by Wednesday. The Royals open Cactus League play February 27th against Texas.

The full Cardinals squad reports to Jupiter, Florida today to begin spring training. The pitchers and catchers reported last Wednesday. The Cards begin the exhibition schedule on Friday, the 28th against the Miami Marlins.

Fog is the king of the mountains today at the Sochi Olympics.  The Olympic men’s snowboardcross was postponed because of fog. A new date and time have not been set.
