In high school basketball, the game of the week tonight will be the Carrollton Lady Trojans hosting the Richmond Lady Spartans. Tip off should be right around 6:30 p.m. with pre-game just a few minutes before that. You can tune into 103.9 FM or log onto 1039thegrenade.com.

In the Keytesville Tournament Championship rounds this weekend, The Marceline Lady Tigers beat the Norborne lady pirates 35-33. In the boy’s championship Marceline beat Bevier 52-33.

Sturgeon fell to Salisbury 70 to 38 in the Sturgeon Tournament Championship game.  Salisbury will take on Wellington at Mizzou Arena tonight.  They’ll follow that up with a home game tomorrow against Westran.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Vladimir Sobotka scored from close range in overtime last night to give the St. Louis Blues a 5-4 win over the Minnesota Wild. Chris Stewart, Barret Jackman, Wade Redden and Patrik Berglund also netted goals for the Blues. Zach Parise had two goals and an assist for the Wild.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) — Anthony Downing scored 26 points yesterday to lead Missouri State past Drake 78-72. Keith Pickens added 19 points for the Bears, who completed the regular-season sweep of the Bulldogs. Ben Simons led Drake with 19 points.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — The No. 16 Texas A&M women never trailed yesterday en route to a 77-58 victory over Missouri. Adrienne Pratcher scored 18 points and Peyton Little added 17 for the Aggies. Bri Kulas had 12 points for the Tigers, who fell to 2-5 in SEC play.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A person familiar with the situation tells The Associated Press that the Tennessee Titans are interested in hiring suspended defensive coordinator Gregg Williams. The person says Titans coach Mike Munchak has talked with Williams about a position on his staff. Williams was hired by St. Louis last season before he was suspended for his role in the New Orleans Saints bounty program.
