ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — C.J. Spiller rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns yesterday as the Buffalo Bills routed the Kansas City Chiefs 35-17. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for two more scores, including a 49-yarder to Stevie Johnson. Dwayne Bowe scored both touchdowns for Kansas City.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Sam Bradford threw for 310 yards and three touchdowns yesterday to lead the St. Louis Rams past the Washington Redskins 31-28. Rams receiver Danny Amendola had 160 yards on 15 receptions, including an NFL record-tying 12 in the first half. Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III ran for two TDs and passed for another.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The St. Louis Cardinals scored three runs in the 12th inning yesterday to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-2. Jon Jay hit go-ahead RBI double in the frame for the Cardinals, who regained sole possession of the second NL wild card spot. Rookie Shelby Miller pitched one inning for his first major league victory. The Cardinals have Monday off as they get ready to host the Houston Astros Tuesday night.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Mark Trumbo hit a three-run homer yesterday in the Los Angeles Angels’ 4-3 win over the Kansas City Royals. Dan Haren held the Royals to three runs to improve to 3-1 in his past four starts. Tony Abreu hit a solo home run for Kansas City. The Royals are idle Monday; they’ll be back in action Tuesday night as they open a 3 game set against the Chicago White Sox.
