Former Tigers coach Mike Anderson will lead the Razorbacks against Missouri for the first time since leave two years ago. ST. LOUIS (AP) — On second thought, coach Jeff Fisher says wide receiver Titus Young isn’t a good fit for the St. Louis Rams. The team waived Young yesterday, just a few days after signing him. Fisher says the team hadn’t had much time to do background checks on Young, who was banished three times by the Detroit Lions last year due to behavior issues.
JUPITER, Fla. (AP) — The St. Louis Cardinals have held their first full workout of the 2013 spring training under rain clouds. Ronny Cedeno was the lone position player who didn’t report by yesterday. He’s trying to get visa issues resolved from Venezuela. Relief pitcher Carlos Martinez is trying to resolve a similar issue in the Dominican Republic.
