(St. Louis, MO)  — The mother of deceased Dallas Cowboys linebacker and St. Louis native Jerry Brown has forgiven the man allegedly responsible for the death of her son. Stacey Jackson doesn’t want Brown’s teammate, Josh Brent, prosecuted in the death of Brown.  Brent was the driver in the crash that killed Brown last weekend.  Brent has also been charged with intoxication manslaughter in the case.  Jackson spoke to Brent earlier this week at the memorial service for Brown in Dallas and says she has forgiven him, adding that her son’s time was simply up.  Jackson also revealed that neither man was wearing a seat belt during the accident, something police have not publicly confirmed.  Brown and Brent were roommates and also teammates in college at Illinois.
