(Florham Park, NJ) — New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan is reacting to a report that his players are bashing backup quarterback Tim Tebow. Ryan says he doesn’t put much stock into anonymous players saying Tebow isn’t any good. According to reports in New York media, more than a dozen unnamed players say Tebow has shown no improvement since joining the Jets, with one defensive starter saying, quote, “He’s terrible.” Ryan says Tebow wasn’t brought in to be the starting quarterback, but brings a unique skill set and works as hard as anybody on the team. Ryan has stuck by starting quarterback Mark Sanchez all season, despite his struggles. The 3-and-6 Jets have lost three in-a-row. They play at St. Louis this Sunday.
