The Pilot Grove girls beat Otterville 54 to 33.

The Meadville girls won their game against Breckenridge.  The final score 63 to 12.  Haley Fitzpatrick led Meadville with 21 points.  Erin Shiflett and Halee Neal added 12.  Lauren Robinson contributed 10 of the 12 points for Breckenridge.

The St. Paul Lutheran girls defeated Northwest Hughesville 46 to 32.

The Warsaw JV girls defeated Lincoln 33 to 28.  Allison Spunaugle led Lincoln with 14 points.  The Lincoln JV boys also fell to Warsaw 57 to 31.

From the Battle of Lexington wrestling tournament this weekend:

Derek Morgan from Knob Noster took home first in his division.
Taylor Rogalski lost to a state champion from Carrollton, but still did well overall.  He placed second in the tournament.
Troy Kyser and Nick Vansell both took home third.
Brandon Nevils ended two and two, taking fourth place in the tournament.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — Jabari Brown scored 12 points last night in No. 12 Missouri’s 102-51 rout of South Carolina State. Brown was playing in his first game since November 2011 when he was a freshman at Oregon. Phil Pressey’s jumper 17 seconds into the game gave the Tigers the lead for good.

The Tennessee Titans beat the New York Jets 14-10 on “Monday Night Football” to end the Jets’ very slim playoff hopes.  The Jets fell to 6-and-8, officially eliminating them from playoff contention.
