The Cole Camp girls defeated Lincoln 47 to 30. Allison Spunaugle led Lincoln with ten points. On the JV side, Cole Camp beat Lincoln 24 to 5.
Santa Fe lost to St. Paul 59 to 49. Marissa Brackman had 20 for St. Paul. She was followed up with 15 points from Rebecca Roepe and 13 from Devon Heins. Kylie Limback had 16 for Santa Fe. B. Barnett had 13 and Lexi Smith scored 12.
Wentworth defeated Ozark Christian College 72 to 59 in Joplin last night to pick up their 5th win of the season. Wentworth was paced in scoring by Daryus Franklin with 20, Carmen Depano with 19 and Jerea Brice with 14. Sarah Rhodes led the way for Ozark Christian with 19 points and 12 rebounds. The Lady Dragons travel to Missouri Valley College on Wednesday. Game time is 5:30.
The William Jewell Cardinals rolled by Rockhurst University 70-54 in Great Lakes Valley Conference action yesterday afternoon in Liberty. The Cardinals have won two straight and improve to 8-7 overall and 4-3 in GLVC play. The Cardinals will travel to Springfield, Ill., Thursday. Tip-off is slated for 7:45 p.m.
The William Jewell Lady Cardinals lost 67-46 to the Rockhurst University Hawks in Great Lakes Valley Conference action yesterday in Liberty. The Lady Cardinals will also travel to Springfield, Ill., on Thursday. Tip-off is slated for 5:30 p.m.
