Jered Weaver earned his second win of the season after allowing one run and striking out five. Cardinals starter Lance Lynn fell to 10-3 on the year after giving up five runs and nine hits. The Cardinals try to snap out of their funk tonight play the second of three games in Los Angeles against the Angels.

Molina has nearly 5.1-million votes in the latest tabulations released on Tuesday. Outfielder and St. Louis teammate Carlos Beltran is right behind with just over five-million votes.
(Kansas City, MO) — Carlos Santana and Jason Giambi drove in runs in the seventh inning to snap a 4-all tie and the Indians held on to beat the Royals 6-5 at Kauffman Stadium. Alex Gordon erased a 4-0 deficit with a grand slam in the fifth for the Royals. Tim Collins took the loss. He and Aaron Crow combined to walk the bases loaded in the seventh with nobody out. The Royals and Indians play the second of their three-game series tonight at “The K.” Jeremy Guthrie takes the ball for KC, while Scott Kazmir is slated to start for Cleveland.
(Columbia, MO) — Zach Price is coming to Mizzou. The Tigers announced Tuesday that the 6-foot-10 big man has signed a financial aid agreement to attend Missouri after transferring from the University of Louisville. Price will be able to practice but not play for the Tigers this season per NCAA rules. After sitting out for a year, he’ll have two years of eligibility remaining.
