The popular annual event will again feature a guest from the Kansas City area.  “Tom Wachs from KCTV 5 will be our speaker this year,” said Wright,” It’s always a very interesting class that’s open to both first responders and the general public.  The weather service is always looking for trained spotters so that the reports they receive are accurate.”

The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church Family Life Center located at 206 Locust Street.  Pre-registration is not required to attend.
