St. Peters Resident Injured, Charged in Early Morning Accident

A St. Peters woman was injured in an accident early Saturday morning in Johnson County.  According to the Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when Emily Webb, 24, failed to negotiate a curve near the intersection of Highway 50 and Northwest 250th Road.  She struck a ditch and then several trees before coming to rest in a field.  Webb was taken to Research Medical Center with serious injuries.  She is now facing a single charge of driving while intoxicated.
