State Sen. Pearce Talks Budget

Missouri State representatives have had their say with the initial state budget for the upcoming  fiscal year. Senator David Pearce of Warrensburg, who serves on the Senate Appropriations Committee, lays out the remaining schedule leading up to the May 17th deadline.

Senator Pearce added that the Medicaid Expansion version that Governor Nixon is pushing for will not be part of the budget as it exists today; the 2014 Fiscal Year begins July 1st.
