Saline County’s Economic Development Strategic Plan will be announced in Marshall Wednesday evening. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Spokesperson Troy Nash:
The Zimmer group started working on the long-term plan more than one year ago. “We took our time because we wanted to to do it right the first time. So we really engaged the county in ways that it’s never, as I understand it, been engaged before,” said Nash, “Really listening to people, focusing on what their hopes, dreams, and aspirations were, so that that can be reflected in the overall plan.”
The launch will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 at the Martin Community Center, located at 1985 S. Odell Street in Marshall. The speakers start at 6:30, with U.S. Congressman Emmanuel Cleaver serving as the keynote speaker.
The public is invited.
