Street Work Scheduled in Chillicothe

Thursday, October 17th, 2013, the Chillicothe Street Department will be chip sealing a seciton of steets in the southeast section of Chillicothe. The streets involved will be Shagbark Drive, Birch Drive, Willow Avenue, and all connecting streets in that area.

All streets in this area will be temporarily closed while liquid asphalt and bituminus material are being applied. Once the bituminus material is applied and rolled, traffic can once again move freely. Fifteen minute closure will be the maximum time any portion is closed. Signs will be present and flaggers will be at each end to let traffic know of the street improvements.

All residents in the area will be notified either in person or with a letter in their door if they are not at home.

Please be cautious in this area while work is going on follow advice from flaggers during operation.
