Structure Fire In Carrollton

(Update): 02/07/14 11:55 p.m.: Crews were able to extinguish the fire in less than thirty minutes. The Carrollton Fire Department reports damage was limited to the home’s chimney and the cause is under investigation.

A call went out just after 11:30 p.m. Friday for a structure fire in Carrollton.

Emergency crews were on scene in just a few minutes and calls for mutual aid were requested from Norborne and another department about 11:35 p.m.

An ambulance was also requested to be on scene, but there is no word on any injuries at this time.
