Summer Utility Assistance Fund Empty

Green Hills Community Action Agency has announced all of the funding for the emergency summer utility assistance program has been exhausted.

The GHCAA reports that no funding will be available until the winter season’s electric utility assistance kicks in starting October 1st for elderly and disabled residents.  Assistance for all other households begins November 1st.

Applications for winter assistance will not be available until September. For more information and to have your questions answered, call the GHCAA at 855-290-8544, option 1.
