Adam Wainwright tossed seven innings of two-run ball to help the Cardinals crush the Royals, 8-2 Saturday. Allen Craig blasted a two-run homer and drove in three runs for St. Louis, which has won three-of-four overall. Matt Holliday went 4-for-5 with two runs and two RBI in the win. Luis Mendoza gave up four runs in four-and-a-third frames for the loss. Alex Gordon scored and knocked in a run for Kansas City, which has lost the first two of this three-game set.
