Superbowl Shooting on Ray Co. Docket

A pre-trial conference for an Orrick resident will be held Friday morning.  Jerry Nail, 25, is accused of shooting Jeffrey Merriman, 36, of Camden, during a 2011 Superbowl party in Richmond.  Nail was charged with assault, discharging a firearm at another person, and armed criminal action.  He is scheduled to go before a Ray County judge at 9:00 a.m.  His jury trial is set to begin March 25th.
