Suspects arrested in connection with McGirk robbery

MCGIRK, MO – A reported robbery in Moniteau County was solved with the cooperation of Cole County authorities.

According to Sheriff Tony Wheatley, the burglary report was taken from McGirk, Monday. By Tuesday, a suspect vehicle had been stopped in Jefferson City. Moniteau deputies arrived on scene, taking into custody Christopher Killion, 29, of Jeff City, and Stevie Kelly, 31, of Centertown for 2nd degree burglary or stealing. Items reported stolen from the McGirk residence were located in the vehicle, and at a property in Eugene. Bond was set at $25,000 each.
