Wright said action was taken on two major items. “We went over the 2012-2013 Budget and it was approved by the board. The budget included money for a lighting project for the football field, which was also discussed.”

Wright added the board is moving forward with the light replacement project for the school. “Robert Rawlings from Rawlings Architects in Sedalia came in and presented information to the board about the different aspects of a proposed lighting project for the football field. Currently, we need to replace the lights. So, the board listened to Mr. Rawlings and made a motion to to proceed forward with getting bids.”

Board members also approved the student/staff handbook and hired two new employees. Erin Wiskur was given the position of bus driver, and James Weir was given a teaching position.
