Sweet Springs Board of Alderman

The Sweet Springs Board of Alderman will have their regular monthly meeting Monday, October 14, 2013. The group has quite a few topics to go over tonight before they can adjourn. After they discuss “old business”, they will go into discussions of “new business”. Some of the topics will be the passage of the Comprehensive Plan Ordinance as well as an ordinance to adopt State changes to the Court costs for the Sheriff’s Retirement Fee.

The Mayor will appoint three new members to the Planning and Zoning Board: Lewis Bybee-Administrator, Eric Rader-Council Representative, and Steve Pearson-Board member. The City Clerk’s retirement will be accepted at tonight’s meeting as well.

Dee Friel will be discussing grants and bids for the park as well as the electrical issues at the park. She will also talk about the upcoming Optimist Truck or Treat that is to take place on the 26th of October, 2013.

The Board will gather at 6:00 p.m.
