The Queen contest will be held at 8:00 Wednesday evening.

A much-loved event will return Thursday evening. “Once again this year we brought back the pig-dressing contest, which was a big success,” said Hoyes, “The community really loves watching the people wrestle around in the mud and try to dress a pig.”

The Queen Parade starts at 7:30 Friday evening. Judging will be held at 6:00. The children’s parade will begin at 7:20.

Saturday’s festivities include a pancake breakfast, children’s activities, a pedal tractor pull, a bow shoot, a baby contest, a smoking competition, and redneck games.
