Honeycutt has been in education for 15 years.  He started teaching in California, and spent seven years in Idaho.  He has been an English teacher at the Oak Grove school district for the past 5 years.  Honeycutt completed an administrative program with UCM.

Honeycutt hopes to continue the good work the Sweet Springs District has already completed.  “I know that the teaching staff there is very dedicated.  They have done a fantastic job.  The District has had a distinction in performance for the past six years,” said Honeycutt, “I look to continue doing that and to continue to grow with the performance that they have done.  And to lend assistance the best I can.”

Honeycutt said he is also looking forward to getting to know the students and the community.
