Tax Talks Expected the Missouri General Assembly

Senator Bob Dixon, of Springfield, said the problems are caused by the Missouri Supreme Court’s ruling that caps on medical malpractice liability are unconstitutional.  Other issues expected to come under scrutiny include taxes and education.  Senator Joseph Keaveny, of St. Louis, said this year’s changes to charter schools need to be examined.  Other senators are raising questions as to whether the state has the money for charter schools.  The next session begins January 9th at noon.
