Teen bound over to Circuit Court over brutal assault on another teen

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mo. – A Chillicothe teenager, charged as an adult, waived his preliminary hearing in Livingston County Wednesday afternoon.

Matthew Ryan Miller, 16, is charged with felony assault in the first degree, for attempting to seriously harm another juvenile in Chillicothe on February 2, 2018. Officials say Miller and another teen, who was referred to juvenile authorities, choked, beat and attempted to stab the victim at a railway bridge in Chillicothe.

Miller was bound over to circuit court and scheduled to be arraigned at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2018.
