Three juveniles are missing after they reportedly ran away from the Butterfield Youth Services Ranch Thursday night and early Friday morning.  According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Department, two males, ages 17 and 15, are believed to have escaped out of a window at about 9:30 p.m.  Staff members told deputies the teens may have headed south from the facility toward the train tracks.

Both are white males with long dark hair.  One of the boys is from Independence.  The other is from Warrensburg.  One was wearing a black stripped shirt and gray pants.  The second teen was wearing a blue hooded sweat shirt and black skinny jeans.

The third boy allegedly escaped from the Boy’s East Ranch at about 1:15 a.m.  He is described as a Hispanic male, 5’6″, 140 lbs., with dark hair and eyes.  No clothing description is available.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Saline County Sheriff’s Department (660) 866-5511.
