Three Injured in Macon Co. Crash

A two vehicle accident has injured three central Missouri residents. According to the highway patrol, 41-year-old Leigh Branstetter of Kirksville was southbound on US 63 when 36-year-old Mary Schauperl of Atlanta, Missouri, pulled into her path from Route M. Schauperl was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. Branstetter and passenger, 68-year-old Virgil Harrison of Kirksville were moderately injured and taken to NEMO Regional Hospital. Schauperl was air lifted to University Hospital in critical condition
