Three Sedalia Men Injured in Early Morning Wreck

A one vehicle crash in Pettis County Thursday morning injured three Sedalia residents, two of which are teens.

The highway patrol reports that 21-year-old Scott Demetrius was driving westbound on Drake Road at Route T when he failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch and then an embankment.

Demetrius and passenger 19-year-old Michael Douglas were moderately injured and taken to Bothwell Hospital. 17-year-old Jacob Haulcy was seriously injured and transported by air ambulance to University Hospital.
