Three Teens Hurt in Clay Co. Crash

An accident on Highway 69 in Clay County Friday night sent three Excelsior Springs teens to the hospital.  The crash occurred just north of 162nd Street at about 5:00 p.m. According to the Highway Patrol, Isaak Stafford, 15, lost control of his vehicle after he attempted to pass another car. The report said Stafford over corrected, traveled off the roadway, and hit a utility pole.  He and his two passengers, Leslie Tietsort, 17, and Kenisgra Wesley, 16, were taken to Liberty Hospital with moderate injuries.  Charges are pending in the investigation.
