Tractor and semi collide near Princeton causing injury

PRINCETON, MO – A resident of Princeton is injured after a two vehicle accident on 65 Highway.

Missouri Highway Patrol in Mercer County listed one driver with serious injuries in a crash report. The incident occurred Friday morning 4 miles north of Princeton, where a farm tractor, driven by Gilbert Lawson, 44, was struck by a semi tractor trailer. The tractor was attempting to turn left, while the semi attempted to pass. Lawson was ejected from the tractor. The semi overturned off the east side of the road.

Lawson was taken by ambulance to Wright Memorial Hospital. The driver of the truck, Timothy Spicard, 44, of Trenton, was not listed with any injuries.
