UPDATED – Traffic impeded at the intersection of Highways 116 and 69 by Clinton Co. wreck

Update: (11/02/16) 7:55 p.m. The Highway Patrol reports that the intersection is clear. There was no confirmation on injuries, but an official report should be issued sometime this evening.

That wreck occurred about 12 minutes before 7 p.m.

A KMZU listener reported the collision between two vehicles just before 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2016. At that time the caller stated that all four direction were blocked about two miles east of I-35.

KMZU News spoke with a dispatcher with the Missouri State Highway Patrol and confirmed the accident. However, at approximately 7:10 p.m. traffic was reportedly getting through the intersection.

No reports on injuries were available at this time. Motorists are asked to use extreme caution in the area. KMZU will let you know when the scene is clear.
