Traffic Stop Ends in Excelsior Springs Man’s Arrest

An Excelsior Springs resident was arrested by Highway Patrol troopers in Clinton County early Saturday morning.  Michael Clewell, 48, is facing charges of driving while intoxicated, failing to drive on the right half of the roadway, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.  He was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office.
