Traffic Stop Ends in Marceline Man’s Arrest

Highway Patrol troopers in Chariton County arrested a Marceline resident late Monday night.  Jonathon Lemmond, 23, is accused of driving while intoxicated – drugs, failing to drive on the right half of the road, and following another vehicle too closely, according to the Highway Patrol’s arrest report.  Lemmond was transported to the Chariton County Jail shortly before midnight.  Formal charges are pending.
