The aviation organization has been in existence for 25 years.  “It was the brain child of an air force pilot who saw the interest kids had in aviation and aircraft and put that to good use to encourage good grades, staying tobacco, alcohol free, and drug free,” said Spooner, “And teaching kids how to set goals and how to reach their goals, and what to do if they didn’t get it right the first time.”

The trail ride will start Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Big River Ranch in Lexington.  Dinner, an auction, and entertainment will follow.  Registration begins at 9:00, but can be made in advance.  For more information, Spooner can be reached at (816) 510-1461 or (660) 484-3506.
