Trial Setting Scheduled in Molestation Case

A trial setting for an Arkansas man in Saline County is scheduled for Wednesday morning.

Matthew Wyatt, 19, is accused of having sex with a 15-year-old in April.

According to the probable cause statement, he had taken prescription pills and cannot remember having intercourse with his sister’s friend.  The incident allegedly took place at a home on Route C in Saline County on April 8th.

Wyatt has been charged with second-degree child molestation and is scheduled to go before Judge James Bellamy at 9 a.m.
