Trials Delayed in Drug Case

The trials for two men arrested during police raids on the Smellgoodz stores in Macon and Brookfield have been continued.  Travis Lovett, 32, and Stephen Wright, 33, have both been charged with delivery or manufacture of an imitation controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.  Wright faces an additional charge of promoting the sale of a controlled substance.

He was scheduled to go to trial April 1st, but will now appear for a pre-trial conference May 28th.  Lovett will also appear May 28th for a Criminal Motion.  He was originally scheduled to go before a Macon County Jury on April 25th.
