Two men, who were arrested during police raids on the Smellgoodz stores in Macon and Brookfield, are scheduled to stand trial in April.  Travis Lovett, 32, of Bucklin, the owner of both shops, and Stephen Wright, 33, of Macon, were each charged in February 2011 with delivery or manufacturing an imitation controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.  An additional charge of promoting the sale of an imitation controlled substance was filed against Wright.

The two men were allegedly involved in the sale of products described in police documents as synthetic marijuana marketed as incense.  Members of the North Missouri Drug Task Force seized the items during a raid on the shops in Jan. 2011.

Wright will be tried on Apr. 1 in a Macon County Circuit courtroom.  Lovett will face his peers on Apr. 25 in the same location.
