Trooper to Be Honored

The Concordia Board of Alderman will gather Monday evening in regular session.

One agenda item is the recognition of Mo. State Highway Patrol Officer Tony Helms as “Officer of the Month” in Troop A for his part in the apprehension of fleeing suspects in mid-April.

The board will also discuss the lease purchase of a Kubota BX25. That discussion will include a proposed ordinance granting the Mayor to enter into the lease through an area bank.

There will also be discussions revolving around special use permits for ATV’s and other utility vehicles.

Another item on the agenda will be possible smoke tests of sewers.

The Board of Alderman will meet at 7 p.m. at the Concordia Community Center at 802 South Gordon.
