Two Arrested Following Car Chase

A car chase in Platte County Monday morning resulted in the arrest of two people.  The Sheriff’s Department reports the vehicle was reported stolen out of Kansas City, Kansas, and located in Dearborn. Darren Jameson, 28, of Claycomo, and Natalie Fox, 27, of Excelsior Springs, have been taken into custody.

Press Release from the Platte County Sheriff’s Office

This morning shortly before 11:40am, the Platte County Sheriff’s Office was involved in a pursuit with a vehicle that was stolen in Kansas City, Kansas. The vehicle had also reportedly been involved in an assault against a law enforcement officer in Kansas City, Kansas. Platte County deputies pursued the vehicle to the area of Dearborn, Missouri and briefly lost sight of the vehicle. The vehicle was located in Dearborn, Missouri near the intersection of 2nd Street and July. Sheriff’s deputies were advised by a witness that two individuals had run into a house in the 200 block of July Street. The suspect from the pursuit (Darren M. Jameson, 28 of Claycomo, Missouri) and the alleged passenger, (Natalie R. Fox, 27 of Excelsior Springs, Missouri) of the vehicle where both located at the residence and taken into custody on outstanding warrants and various other charges related to the pursuit.
